Transition into the World of Work

The Foundation seeks to facilitate the individual's transition into the world of work by providing the necessary support and structures that the individual needs.

We believe that the individual should remain in an education setting till the age of 18 to 20 with a transition programme to either the world of work, in all its different aspects, from the open market to supported employment, perhaps through social co-operatives which could include sheltered workshops or to supported living or day care centres within an inclusive community or educational setting.

This is something that the Foundation is working on in partnership with private entities. We are also liaising with the Commune di Modena in Italy to develop these services.
